Bangalore: Consumer Electronics Show 2012 at Las Vegas has unveiled lots of Ultrabooks and has given a final confirmation that 2012 is going to be the - Year of Ultrabooks. Ultrabook, the new vision of Intel has become the focal point of the all the major laptop maker which has made them to come up with this thinner, lighter, stylish and speedy version of laptops at this year’s CES. Let’s have a look at these new generation laptops.

1. Lenovo IdeaPad YOGA

The new IdeaPad YOGA makes you think whether it is an Ultrabook or a tablet, actually it’s is a thin & stylish Ultrabook which  features a touchscreen with 360 degree flip screen which make it to be used as tablet too.

The IdeaPad YOGA sports a 13.3 inch touchscreen with 1,600x900-pixel resolution, 8 GB of RAM, weighs just 1.4 kilogram and has a thickness 0.67 inch and has up to 256 GB of SSD storage. It is powered by Intel's Oak Trail processors and runs Microsoft's touch-friendly Windows 8 operating system. As it is running on Windows 8 OS it is expected to hit the market a bit late.

Acer Aspire S5 is the world’s thinnest ultrabook with just 0.59 inch and weighing just 1.35 kilograms. It features 13 inch LED Backlit display, powered by Intel Ivy Bridge Processor, 8 GB of RAM and runs on Windows 7 operating system.

For connectivity it supports the faster data transfer speeds with thunderbolt, two USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0, HDMI, audio and mic ports, web cam, integrated gigabit LAN and Bluetooth v3.0. Along with these specifications Acer Aspire S5 has Dolby home theater audio for a real entertainment experience. This ultrabook is available in India and costs 60000.
