LG Just Released G3 Smartphone To Rival Samsung's New S5

BANGALORE: LG Electronics on Monday launched its new flagship smartphone LG G3.

The phone is priced at 47,990 for 16GB and 50,990 for 32GB and would be available in three colours.

“With G3, LG has truly broken technological grounds and we aim to spearhead our vision of 10 per cent smartphone market share by end of 2014 for LG’s mobile division in India,” LG Electronics India Managing Director Soon Kwon said.

The LG G3 smartphone has 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quadcore processor. It is available with both 16 and 32 GB internel memory and also comes with 2GB and 3GB RAM. The phone’s camera has laser beam that measures the distance between the object and the person for better photos.

The phone is to be endorsed by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, where the South Korean company will release 15,000 limited edition G3 smartphones with the actor’s signature in the Indian market.

The phone is said to rival the Samsung’s Galaxy S5, which already has a bad market and hasn’t been able to meet the expected criteria of beating the Apple 5s.

This LG G3 phone will also rival the new release of Samsung’s 4G variant of the galaxy S5 which is priced higher but comes with the same features and build. On purchase of this Phone, the company will give a discount of 5000 for an android G Watch.
