Who doesn’t love weekends, especially traveling with friends and family. Weekends are the only time we can actually take a real break from our professional sphere. Still, traveling by air in the weekends is not a good idea because almost the entire city will be out traveling by air too. Since, many people have their families and relatives living in other cities, they take the weekend flights to their hometowns, especially if their native places are far away. This in turn limits the availability of vacant seats in weekend flights. Since, the demand of weekend flights is more; these flights also tend to be costlier than the ones during weekdays. This equates to very few seats being available at very high prices. So, traveling by air during weekends is not a very good idea. Since, people cannot circumvent traveling during weekends; they might have to look for other modes of transportation, though this takes more time to reach the preferred destination. This is a cross one must bear. Taking alternative modes of transportation does lessen traveling expenses but prolongs the journey. So, people must make a trade-off between cost and time here.
