Mumbai: In a move to increase its market share, Star Union Dai-ichi (SUD) Life Insurance has introduced six new insurance policies under the group and individual categories. The company is a joint venture between Bank of India, Union Bank of India and Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance. The three products among the six new products will be group plans and the other three will be individual plans. The group plan includes group leave encashment plan, group gratuity scheme and reverse mortgage loan - annuity plan. The individual plans are SUD Life Instant Endowment Plan, SUD Life Pure Term Assurance Plan and SUD Life Premier Protection Plan. With an aim to make its corporate website more user-friendly and improve its IT infrastructure, SUD Life plans to revamp the website. The company is also launching a customer portal, an employee portal and a distribution portal in order to give more emphasis on each of the group.
