BANGALORE: The belief that only men in the family will earn the bread and butter,   petered out, as mothers too joined the queue. Recent observations reflect that even the junior members of the families have started earning over their coins and pennies in the piggy bank.

Examples of some earning children include Saurabh (19), currently a student of media science, who has been working for the past four years says, “I've delved into online surveys, social media marketing, apps, blogging, and what you will. It helps me earn a cool amount, Rs 10,000-15,000 month.”

Another is Hari, who recently bought a car with his own money and claims, “I’ve always been interested in making money and got my first payout in class X. I do blogging and marketing, and create content for websites. At one time I was making $400-500 a month.”

Hari’s dedication in work is evident from his statement, “I had stopped to focus on my studies, but since I've exhausted my savings, I will have to get back on the Net again.”

So youngsters out there might wonder these are miracle kids with extra brains to achieve so much at such young age. Well, that’s a misconception. Even you can earn good money. With Economic Times we list the major ways by which, now youngest members of the family can also contribute financially:

Photography, baking, teaching, cooking – anything can be your passion. Let it become your profession with simple steps like uploading up ads in social media, telling your neighbors and friends and may be preparing some colorful pamphlets. At the initials, your order might be just two cup cakes or one dish or just one kindergarten student. But give it a good start; numbers will go up like wonders.
