PSU index mounts last week
Bangalore: The PSU index emerged as one of the top gainers last week with a gain of 7.33 percent. The index traded in the range of 8,932 - 9,100 points. As on April 13, 2011, the market capitalization value of the PSU index is 
1,979,625.20 crore.
Among top gainers, the BANKEX index gained 7.13 percent, followed by the CG sector which gained 5.01 percent.
Finance Ministry is going to hold annual performance review of public sector banks on April 26 to evaluate various aspects including non-performing assets and financial inclusion. The meeting will take stock of the financial performance of the banks during the financial year ended March 2011.
