MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Monday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 27,314.44 points touched a high of 27,346.01 points and a low of 27,293.53 points.
On Friday, the Sensex closed at 27,144.91 points.
The Sensex is trading at 27,330.95 points up by 186.04 points or 0.69 per cent.
On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,276.75 points after closing at 8,328.35 points on Friday.
The Nifty is trading at 8,381.20 points in the morning.
