Markets Open On A Positive Note


MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Friday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 26,548.67 points, touched a high of 26,594.55 and a low of 26,506.26 points.

On Thursday the Sensex closed at 26,519.07 points.

The Sensex is trading at 26,511.18 points down by 8.17 points or 0.03  pct.

On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,178.20 points after closing at 8,153.60 points.

The Nifty is trading at 8,143.85 points in the morning.
