Markets Open On A Positive Note On Wednesday Morning


MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a higher note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 28,554.38 points soon shot up and touched a high of 28,571.75 points and a low of 28,543.29 points.

On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 28,523.20 points.

The Sensex is trading at 28,543.20 points, up by 20 points or 0.07 pct.

On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,790.30 points after closing at 8,775.90 points on Tuesday.

The Nifty is trading at 8,788.50 points in the morning.
