Markets Open On A Negative Note On Wednesday


MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 28,270.11 points, touched a high of 28,382.32 and a low of 28,269.92 points.

On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 28,339.31 points.

The Sensex is trading at 28,329.17 points down by 10.14 points or 0.04 pct.

On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange(NSE) opened at 8,778.95 points after closing at 8, 792.30 points.

The Nifty is trading at 8,803.80 points.
