Key Indian Equity Indices Open In Red


MUMBAI: The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened in red following Asian markets cues.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 113.84 points or 0.40 pct down soon after opening.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 39.10 points or 0.44 pct lower at 8,792.45 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 28,630.92 points, was trading at 28,554.38 points (at 9.17 a.m.), lower 113.84 points or 0.40 pct from the previous day's close at 28,668.22 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 28,630.92 points and a low of 28,506.72 points in the trade so far.
