Key Indian Equity Indices Open Higher


MUMBAI: Key Indian equity indices on Tuesday morning opened higher following strong Asian cues.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 84.23 points or 0.32 percent higher during the morning session.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 27.50 points or 0.34 percent higher at 8,206 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 26,817.75 points, was trading at 26,809.83 points (at 9.16 a.m.) in the early session, higher 84.23 points or 0.32 percent from the previous day's close at 26,725.60 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 26,837.20 points and a low of 26,798.25 points in the trade so far.
