Key Indian Equity Indices Open Flat


MUMBAI: The key Indian equity indices on Monday opened flat following cues from Asian markets.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 52.97 points or 0.19 pct higher soon after opening.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 19 points or 0.22 pct higher at 8,602.40 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 27,776.14 points, was trading at 27,726.57 points (at 9.16 a.m.), higher 52.97 points or 0.19 pct from the previous day's close at 27,673.60 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 27,803.21 points and a low of 27,684.59 points in the trade so far.
