Karur Vysya Bank Opens 10 Branches, 50 ATMs


New Delhi: Private sector Karur Vysya Bank (KVB)opened 10 more branches taking its total network to 386 branches across the country. In addition, the Tamil Nadu-based bank added 50 ATMs to its existing network. With the additions, the branch network increased to 386 and the ATM network to 583, KVB said in a statement. By the end of September 2011, the bank is aiming to cross the branch and ATM network by 400 and 600 respectively, it added. KVB plans on enhancing accessibility and customer convenience by installing more ATMs and also opening new branches across the country. It won the CNBC – TV 18 Best Bank & Financial Institution Award, 2011 under the old private sector bank category followed by FIBAC Banking award 2011 – Best Cost Efficient Bank among Private Sector Banks and Banking Technology Excellence Award 2011 – Best Bank for Mobile Banking among Small Banks.
