'India Has Highest Percentage Of HNWIs Wanting To Give Back To Society'


BANGALORE: when it comes to super-rich ‘India’ is home to many even outside the country, taking this into perspective the HNWIs are now willing to make a positive impact on society by giving back to their local communities in areas like health, education and children's causes, according to a report.

More than 90 per cent of India's high net-worth individuals (HNWIs) seek to achieve more than just monetary returns while managing their wealth, says the World Wealth Report 2014, released by Capgemini and RBC Wealth Management,

In India, 90.5 percent of HNWIs viewed driving social impact as either extremely or very important, followed by China (89.4 percent) and Indonesia (89.2 percent) in the second and third places respectively.

Hong Kong (82.1 percent) and Malaysia (81.1 percent) round out the top five.

Mexico (77.1 percent), Brazil (76.4 percent), Russia (71.8 percent), Singapore (70.1 percent) and South Africa (68.1 percent) made it to the top ten.
