ING MF launches ING Optimix Financial Planning Fund


Bangalore: ING Mutual Fund (MF) has unveiled a new open-ended fund of funds scheme named ING Optimix Financial Planning Fund. The investment objective is to generate returns by investing in mutual fund schemes selected in accordance with the ING OptiMix Multi Manager Investment process, as per the risk return profile of investors. Each of the 4 plans under the Scheme has a strategic asset allocation which is based on satisfying the needs to a specific risk-return profile of investors. The New Fund Offer (NFO) is open for subscription from April 19 to May 3, 2011. The New Fund Offer price for the scheme is 10 per unit. The scheme offers four options: as per the investors' risk profile namely Cautious, Conservative, Prudent and Aggressive. Each of them offers a different mix of asset classes. In addition, the fund can also take exposure in liquid funds, debt fund, equity funds and gold ETFs. The benchmark and its allocation patterns are set accordingly to replicate the risk profile plan. The minimum investment amount is 5000. The entry load for the scheme would be nil and the exit load in every plan varies, for instance, cautious plan has 0.50 percent exit load if redeemed within and including 6 months from the date of allotment. In conservative plan, the load is 1 percent if redeemed within and including 1 year from the date of allotment. The fund manager of the scheme is Arvind Bansal.
