The government provides canteen smart cards, which helps the serving and retired defence personnel and their family members to shop groceries from the CSD. The CSD operates 5 regional offices, 34 area depots and 3,825 canteen stores all over India. These Canteens provide more than 2,800 items which cover households to cars. The items here are cheaper when compared to the retail price. The best part is that none of the things include taxes.
