BANGALORE: The most prominent thing that we adore the most about festivals is that they are full of surprises. Ahead of festive seasons, white goods companies, banks, real estate sectors roll out on special offers to woo customers. Before you buy a product, the discounts which are being offered should be understood thoroughly, here is a list of the sectors where festive season brings more discounts, as compiled by Rediff.com.

#1. Banks

ICICI Bank has introduced several offers, it has started a scheme that allows fixed deposit holders to make bulk purchases through a debit card and repay through equated monthly installments and also introduced a fixed home loan rate of 10.25 percent. They have also announced offers for online shoppers.

Punjab National Bank and Federal Bank  offer discounts on interest rates and processing fees on retail loans. SBI and Axis Bank are finalizing their festival offers.
