Mumbai: Online travel portal cleartrip.com Wednesday launched an equated monthly installment (EMI) payment option for all international and domestic flights as well as hotels. 'There is a huge set of Indian wanderlusts that have the keen desire to travel with family but are restricted by budgetary constraints. Airfares and hotel stays add up as the biggest component of travel expenses for them. We want to reach out to this set of aspiring travelers and urge them to come forward and partake of our EMI option,' said Noel Swain, Cleartrip's executive vice president for supplier relations. The EMI payment option is currently available for credit card holders of three banks - ICICI, HDFC and Standard Chartered. 'In response to our customer's needs we are adding further bank partners. We understand every trip has a purpose and our EMI facility will just make it simple,' Swain said.
