Bharti AXA MF unveils Focused Infrastructure Fund


Mumbai: Aiming to diversify its portfolio, Bharti AXA Mutual Fund (MF) has launched an open ended equity scheme called Bharti AXA Focused Infrastructure Fund. The scheme aims to generate long term capital appreciation through a portfolio of predominantly equity and equity related securities of companies engaged in infrastructure and infrastructure related sectors. The new fund offer (NFO) opens for subscription on January 20, 2010 to February 15, 2010. The NFO price for the scheme is 10 per unit. The scheme will invest 65-100 percent of assets in equity and equity related securities of companies engaged in infrastructure and infrastructure related sectors. It would further invest up 0-35 percent of assets in debt and money market securities. The minimum application amount is 5000 and in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter. For additional purchase minimum application amount is 1000 and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter. The entry load charge is not applicable for the scheme. The exit load charge is one percent if redeemed within one year from the date of allotment. The Fund Manager of the scheme will be Prateek Agrawal. The scheme offers growth option, quarterly dividend option and regular dividend option. Quarterly and regular dividend option offers dividend payout and dividend re-investment facilities. The scheme performance will benchmarked against BSE 100.
