Apollo Munich Launches a Health Insurance Product

Bangalore: Apollo Munich Health Insurance has launched ‘Optical Restore’, a new product. This ‘Optical Restore’ product is designed by judging the ever-rising medical cost, which is always a matter of worry for the customers. The features of this are said to make it a significant change in the health insurance sector.

Optima Restore literally restores the insured money. If the policy holder uses the money within the policy year, the company restores the entire sum insured even if the policy holder falls ill with another illness. This product has another unique multi benefit feature too. If the money is not claimed for one year, company increases the basic sum insured by 50 percent as a non-claim bonus. If the sum is not exhausted for the second year too, then as per the company norms the basic sum insured becomes double.

Optima Restore is a result of a long research done for last 17 months over the 250 existing health insurance products globally. Antony Jacob, CEO of Apollo Munich Health Insurance said, “For the past four years, Apollo Munich has brought to the marketplace, Unique and innovative products. Four years ago, we were the first health insurance company to bring in products without sub-limits and 100 percent lifelong coverage. Our parentage has helped shape many products, whose features are now being used as template for future products.”

This health insurance company is a merge of Apollo Hospitals and Munich Health, a Germany based company.
