The various excuses of the sellers to squeeze money from your wallet can be in the form of drip pricing, split pricing or grey charges. This extra pay may amount to 50 percent in case of travel, 133 percent for home deliveries and 25 to 40 percent in realty purchases.

The practice of ‘hidden charges’ is most prominent in the travel and tourism industry. And the charges are only going to up in the future. Apart from the basic fare, one needs to pay for charges like convenience charge which is between 100-300, passenger service fee of approximately 100-150 and the new CUTE fee ranging from 50-100, which refers to Common Use Terminal Equipment. Most of these fees are never shown in advertised price and takes one by surprise.
