Bangalore: Paul Davis Ryan, Chairman of the House Budget Committee, is the United States Representative for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district and the nominee of the Republican Party for Vice President of the United States in the 2012 election.

For this election nomination, the congress members had to disclose their personal finance details to the Center for Responsive Politics. As per the documents, Ryan has profited from various trusts and inheritances which helped him build his wealth. 1. A Brief Stint as A Landlord Made Ryan Some Early Cash

In Feb. 1998, Ryan bought 3 rental properties in Janesville, Wisc., for which he paid $100,000 - $250,000. It was hard to finance them do he took a mortgage from Anchorbank SSB.

He earned $15,000 - $50,000 per year as a rent from his tenants. With this profit earned, he bought fourth rental property in the year 2000. Till then, the value of his properties ranged from $250,000 and $500,000. Then he started his real estate business in 2011.
