The investment objective of the scheme is to generate current income and long term capital growth from a portfolio substantially consisting of equity and equity related securities. This shall be the fundamental attribute of the scheme. Investments made by the scheme shall be guided by the philosophy of value oriented investing.

Since its inception the Risk Return value has been 6.37 percent and for one month is 19.71 percent. The earnings per share is Rs.14.39 as on October 2011.
