Skill Attributes:
- You have demonstrated your ability to efficiently run an offshore
software development team of more than 20 people while being the
architect/visionary of your company's software and IT infrastructure.
- You have a passion for technology and the latest Internet frameworks.
- You understand what it takes to design, implement, QA and reliably run a
consumer facing web infrastructure and eCommerce portal.

Responsibilities:
- Manage offshore software development teams (Delhi, Bangalore,
Ukraine).
- Design and architect company customer facing portal and backend
software infrastructure.
- Manage company software development lifecycle and resources, from
requirements gathering through to maintenance.
- Provide marketing and the product teams with the software and IT
infrastructure they need to expand the customer base and product
portfolio.
- Build organic and partner development teams.
- Technologically drive and oversee management of quickly expanding
global IT infrastructure (500+ CPU) and IT support team (India, US and
soon Europe and Japan).
- Oversee and expand company's technology portfolio and develop
planning to support.

Qualifications/Skills:
- 7+ years experience in technology/IT/software development and
management in the US/Europe (min 20 reports).
- Visionary, with strong abstraction and analytical skills.
- Detailed oriented and quality focused.
- Passionate about the latest software development technology (Ruby
on Rails, wordpress, ajax, SOAP, etc).
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage offshore implementation
of complex software infrastructure from concept to production.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in
driving year-long projects.
- Proficient in the LAMP environment and in SQL.
- Experienced in designing and managing implementation of IT
infrastructure of at least +100 servers/workstations.
- Formal education in an engineering discipline, ideally software
development.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- MS in an engineering discipline or computer science required.
- Position can be located in either San Francisco Bay Area
(Burlingame) or India.
