An Agile Growth

Today Agilent Technologies, which is one of the premier measurement companies in the world, has showed an agile growth since 1930s. This factor has created a confidence among the engineers, scientists, manufacturers, businesses, researchers, and government agencies who rely on Agilent's tools and solutions.

As a leader in the electronics, telecommunications, life sciences, test and measurement markets, India's growing technology industry is a critical component of Agilent's growth strategy. The India operations have been showing a tangent growth since they began their R&D services and financial services operations in 2001. The 10-acre campus near Manesar, Haryana is one of Agilent's largest worldwide and provides research and development (R&D), engineering support and financial services for the company.

Agilent India currently has 1,200 employees engaged in marketing, sales and customer support across offices located in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad. According to Venkatesh Valluri, president and country general manager, Agilent Technologies India, establishing the campus in Haryana is one of the most significant milestones in realizing their vision in India.

Inaugurating the previous Agilent Technology Day at Bangalore, Bill Sullivan, President and CEO of Agilent Technologies, said, "Agilent’s intent and commitment in India is to add value to the Indian market by supporting the country and community through education, technology, leadership and social responsibility."

Agilent has provided support for the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jacobpura, Gurgaon since 2002. Through funding from Agilent and the Agilent Technologies Foundation, as well as the employee volunteers, the school has been able to improve the quality of science and technology instruction and has become a model for promoting education to girls, helping them transition into desirable technology jobs post-graduation. It also funds for the Quality Science Education and Teachers Training (QUEST) project, which is implemented through two schools each in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and three schools in Gurgaon, India.
