Sarma Ballamudi - Ariba Technologies

Sarma Ballamudi has more than 15 years of experience in the Software Development with more than 10 years in J2EE applications development.

He has an M.S in Computer Science from University Of Hyderabad. He currently heads the engineering team for Travel & Expenses module in Ariba product suite. He has been with Ariba for the past 18 months.

He has an overall responsibility from planning to delivery of feature development for the module. Builds and mentors the team he manages, providing technical leadership. He works closely with product management, 3rd party travel booking integration partners, Credit Card Vendor partners to a build policy compliant travel and expense module.

Prior to Ariba, he was with Sun Microsystems Inc., Santa Clara for more than 12 years developing several IT applications and reusable software components. He has three software patents in his name.
