Ravikant Sabnavis has over 18 years of rich experience in Marketing, Sales and Advertising and is currently Vice President Marketing with Kingfisher Airlines. In addition to his responsibilities on the airline, Ravikant also drives Marketing for the Force India Formula One team. Ravikant joined the UB Group in March 2007 and was heading Marketing at United Breweries Ltd., before moving into his current role at Kingfisher Airlines. Prior to joining the UB Group, Ravikant has spent over 7 years in the foods industry, at Heinz India Pvt. Ltd. on brands such as Glucon-D and Complan and at ConAgra Foods, launching ACT II Popcorn in India. Ravikant began his career in advertising, at Lintas India Ltd. (now Lowe Lintas) where he gained significant experience working with clients such as Unilever and Bajaj Auto, in the seven years he spent there. Ravikant is a Computer Engineer and a management graduate from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management in Mumbai.

He is a post graduate in management from University of Melbourne, Australia and U21 Global Singapore. In a career spanning 19 years he has worked in multiple functions with well known brands like Zenith Computers, Acer, Samsung and Idea Cellular. Prior to joining the Videocon group, his last assignment was with Idea Cellular Limited where he had headed multiple national assignments like Handsets, Brand Alliances, Direct Marketing and the PCO division. He conceptualized, strategized and created multiple business verticals as Idea grew from being a five circle regional player to a pan India player as the head of Business Development in their corporate office in Mumbai. His focus and interest continues to be the consumer. A firm believer in consumer insights, he continues to meet thousands of consumers as he travels across India in his current assignment.
