Smitashree Menon, Country Human Resources Director, for Motorola Mobility India, has over 19 years of core Human Resources experience, working in leadership positions for the last 13 years for Fortune 100 Multinationals in India. She has been with Motorola for the last four years where she has played multifaceted roles during her tenure here. She joined Motorola in June, 2007, to first head Human Resources for the Motorola Software Group; then took on an assignment as the APAC Talent Acquisition Lead for India & Emerging Countries before heading HR for Home and Networks Mobility Software Business in APAC. She then took over the country head of HR position in May, 2010 for Motorola in India. Prior to Motorola, Smita was the Country HR Director for MetLife Insurance in India, where she was instrumental in driving the people strategy in a high growth phase for the company. Ramesh is into his 21st year of experience in HR. He has rich experience in creating and implementing HR frameworks that help organizations transition through periods of growth and change. At Sasken, as Vice President (HR) Ramesh is responsible for creating an employee and leadership proposition to support Sasken become an employer of choice. He is also responsible for creating and executing a talent management strategy, spanning talent acquisition, development and engagement. (Or at least that is the idea) Prior to joining Sasken, he was the country HR Head at CA India Technologies limited. Raghavendra joined Infosys BPO in August 2008 as the Head of the HRD function at Infosys BPO. Sujitha Karnad has over 25 years of experience in IT spanning a variety of domains including Telecom, Manufacturing, the Semiconductor industry, Banking and Healthcare. She started her career in CDOT, turned entrepreneur, and later held key positions in HCL Technologies Ltd and Siemens. She has diverse experience in R&D, operations, and sales, and has worked across geographies and cultures. She has been very successful in building offshore centers that were either organic, a joint venture or a subsidiary of a multinational. In all her assignments, she extensively experimented by blending technology, processes, varying business models, sizes and complexities of organizations to achieve goals. Sujitha was the Chief Transformation Officer at Tech Mahindra Ltd and now has taken over as the HR Head of the company. Sujitha is now pursuing a doctoral program at XLRI, Jamshedpur in the area of ‘Organization Behavior’ focusing on leadership competencies for change.
