Makarand has over 25 years of experience in HR domain. Currently responsible for leading the HR function for Global Markets, Investment Banking, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, Equities, Private Banking, Asset Management and the CIB Center in India at Deutsche Bank . His expertise include strategic planning, talent acquisition, talent development and talent retention. Other responsibilities include performance management, compensation planning, employee engagement, employer branding and management of diversity programs. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Makarand was associated with JM Morgan Stanley & DSP Merrill Lynch.
Gajendra Chandel
President - HR, Tata AutoComp Systems
Gajendra has over two decades of vast experience in HR field. He joined Tata AutoComp in July 2005 and since then has been actively involved in all strategic growth initiatives of this dynamic auto-component conglomerate, (a Rs. 5,500 crore Organisation). He is also a Board Member of three of the joint venture companies. Gajendra drives the Corporate Sustainability Program at Tata AutoComp as well as is the Chief Ethics Officer. Prior to joining Tata AutoComp, he worked with Siemens in India, Germany and USA for 13 yrs. holding positions in Operational & Strategic areas & led several key assignments in India, Germany & USA. Mr. Chandel is an active member of several industrial bodies and associations and has held various positions. He has been the Vice President of the Delhi chapter of National HRD Network. He was awarded “Leader of the Year” by Leadership Management Inc. USA in 1997.
Ravindra D Chaudhari

Ravindra is currently responsible for Corporate HR at Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) and working as Board Director for KBL’s subsidiaries. In his career he has worked for Bosch, Tata Yazaki, Colour Chem, Boots Pharma, GKW etc. A judicious and seasoned HRD and IR Professional with 28+ years of extensive and proven experience in HR Development, Industrial Relations and General Administration in diverse industries of repute, at plant and corporate levels. Expertise encompasses in handling HR and developmental functions entailing strategic HR policy formulation and effective implementation of recruitment, training, performance management, career planning, bringing positive attitudinal Changes, IR, grievance handling, union issues and crises management, The first half of his career exposed him thoroughly to the traditional IR management functions. This involved the transactional role and consisted of key human resource systems. In the second half of his career, he chose the transformational role of human resource management. The traditional functions were supplemented with issues of change management, competency development, employee engagement and talent retention, career and succession planning, performance management, culture building, knowledge management, contingent employment, employee morale and productivity, employee participation and pro-active IR. Abhay Patil

Abhay Patil as Vice President (Talent and Operations) with Harbinger Group, a global leader in the field of e-learning and software services based in Pune. Abhay has extensive experience in the field of software development and setting up of high-end and agile technology start-ups. He is also involved in educational, civic, literary and social activism. He is a Bombay University Gold Medallist (B.E. Civil Engineering). He completed his Masters in structural engineering from IIT, Mumbai. Abhay’s career spans more than 25 years in the fields of CAD/CAM, enterprise application development and now talent management and operations. He has worked both in the USA and India. During the late eighties, Abhay lead development of indigenous Finite Element Analysis software at the CAD/CAM division of Godrej in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai. In 1992 he moved to the Silicon Valley (California, USA). After serving as a Principal Engineer with a large Internet company (Healtheon WebMD), he returned to India in 2001 where he setup a subsidiary of a USA based technology startup (CXO Systems). After handing over the subsidiary to a USA based network company (Cisco), he took a break from his corporate career for 3 years. He joined the Harbinger Group in 2010. Abhay enjoys reflecting on leadership, education, talent management, social movements and literature. He is especially fascinated by the fundamental principles that hold good in disparate domains.
