Hi, Till last year,
They have their own exam - NMAT (200 marks) - which consists of Q.A., Verbal Ability, D.I. and General Awareness. Then they have computer-based test (CBT) (35 marks) for the shortlisted students (2500). This was an online aptitude test. Then there was a GD (25 marks) and Interview (25 Marks). Rest 15 marks were given for full-time work experience (after graduation).

Bt this year there will be only 3 section QA,DI, VA. so no general awarness.apart from this the other change is tht there will be seperate exam for the other programme (like mba in banking, cap market, pharam, and other)

Last year the the thing tht matter most ws the speed. the q were nt tht tough bt the u needed to be very quick so the chance of error is high. there is negative marks also. the cut off would be different this year as the exam for other course is seperate.

For the part time i m not very sure of the enterance process bt they hv classes in the evning and its for people with more than 3 yrs workex

I pity myself for not following the time ALLOCATION as recommended by NMIMS or TIME.
My expected scores are
Language Skills - Attended all 40 with an accuracy of over 75% and expecting around 25 to 30
Quantitative Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency - Attended 26 and expect around 23
Intelligence & Logical Reasoning - Attended 24 and expect around 21
Different from score, do NMIMS look for accuracy rate.
10TH 85.6
12TH 90.0
gRADUATION 78.54
wORK EXPERIENCE AS ON DEC31: 5MONTHS

Is there any cahnce of brreaking thru?

Hi,

happy new year to u.

NMIMS doesnt specify abt the accuracy rate. Bt they have -ive marking. So the guess do get penalise.
No about the cut off its difficult to say as the no of call this year is suppose to be much less than the last year ( which was 2100). This is because there is a seperate exam for the sectoral programme.
Again I have heard that people have attempted adound 100 + question So it all depends on their performance also.

As per your acads it seems to be good bt will came handy only during the GD PI. ut u will nt get credit for the work ex as it has to be minimum of 9 months. Bt tht doesnt matter as freshers have equal chances.
So all the best. and hope for the best.
