As we all know food and ethics are like two side of a coin. I would first explain to you what the word ‘ethic’ means. Ethic is an idea or moral belief that influences the behavior, the attitudes, and the philosophy of a group of people. Yes, ethics can change from people to people. What one man considers as an ethic may be a sin for another. Food on the other hand is universal. As everybody knows "roti, kapda and makan" are the basic need of the people to survive. But according to me surviving is not called life. If you call surviving as life even insects, animals do survive. As we all are known as most intelligent species on this earth, so we should have certain manners to act with other in the society. Which shows that we all are bound with ethic in our day to day life.Food is what people eat. You might be wondering how food is universal. What one man considers as food can be poison for another. But the main purpose of food is to synthesize energy for the continuity of life itself. What I meant by ‘food is universal’ is food is a necessity for man as well as plants and animals. Ethics differentiate between man and the rest.

It is not whether food comes first or ethics that we should decide. We should accept that what is just a food for one might be ethic to another.
