I want to join executive diploma course
Hi, I want to join executive diploma course at Nirma university, Ahmedabad.

I have done my BE and have 4 years of experience as Admin Assistant in a charity based in London.

Now I am back to India and doing job as an Electrical Design Engineer.

I want to get back to management field with a degree.

My question is; is it suitable for me to join executive diploma?

Whats the market value of such programmes. What about placement?

It would be so nice to get the answer within short period as form submission deadline is coming soon.

Thanks.

Hi,
Now a days students are going for unique Post Graduation Courses like Hospitality, Healthcare, Event Management (though depend on individual interest level) that are being offered by institutes and students are getting salaries which are at par with MBA institutes(excluding IIM's and A category B schools). Course duration is also 1 year as compared to two years. Students after pursuing such careers are getting placed at MNC's and are also getting good job profiles and handsome salary packages.

Even I have my own doubts if one could join an executive program without doing his post graduation... I think that executive mBA is only for ppl who have done their post graduation.

Nirma's executive diploma is a good choice but there are other better options for PT exec edu which you can refer like IIMC & K. They offer by distance mode.

As far as placements are concerned, exec progs are not just meant for better placements. They will add value to your current profile and take you to next level. Candidates have exec prog diploma are very well accepted by industries even today companies are encouraging their employees to join these programmes....

first of all - exec ed is anything good for any engineer with your type of profile.
campus placements are not the usp of exec ed, although many institutes like ISB does offer campus placements.
market value is immense...plus you create a good networking with similar profiles during the 1 year stay at campus, hope this helps u
