I think the usage of cellphones should not be banned but one has to make the appropriate usage of it.
Now a days we can c that most of the eng colleges are in the outskirts.This has necessiated the parents to provide their children with the mobiles.But instead everyone is misutilising its use.So what i feel is cellphones should not be banned but its usage should be made accurate.

i think that excssive use of anything should be banned...offcourse cell phones are very much necessary now a days as far as the security of a person is concerned but i think they should not disturb the decorum of the class...cell phones being allowed in colleges is ok but they need to be handled in such a way by the students so that they dont create a mess over there like always sending msgs to friends or keep on talking.......i think the faculty in colleges should also be given the same treatment ( telling them to keep their mobiles swithched off while taking class )....

Cellphones must be banned in the class but not be in the college.One can bring cellphones to college but they should be slept in the classroom.Meanwhile some sort of phones like camera cells are not to be allowed to the college itself because they will create some problem to the students privacy.What do you say guy?

NO, the ban on cell phones in collages in not required becoz each every -body using cell phones are matured, due to some illegal use, cell phones cannot be banned.

friends i think that if the govt has given us the voting right on acquiring the age of 18,it will be unjustified to ban on the use of cell phone in colleges.
as far as my friend has said that a 9 class student can be allowed to use cell phone is undigestable.because he is still under 18 and his mind may not be matured.so there is the possibility that he can misuse it.

i think partially its correct to ban cell phones inside the collages coz just age doesnot give u maturity or rather i say understanding , mobiles r more of status symbol than accessory to ppl , what the reason for collage going students to have mobile , is there any thing that so imp they cant wait for some hours , indecent mms, jokes uninterrupted ring tones collages r for study not forthese things " is there any single logical reason for the presence of mobiles in the graduation collages "

Every technology has it's risk of being misutilised.Yet we can't
dispense with the immense benefits it brings 2 our everyday life.
cell phones are no more a luxury. they have almost become a
necessity. Now whether they should be permitted in schools is really debateable. students who r matured enough like those of class 9onwards should be allowed to bring cellphones in schools.For others it should be banned. But misuse by the students is definitely a cause for concern. So proper guidance & teaching of moral values is what is reqd from da parents as well as teachers in order to stop da students from taking recourse to unfair usage.

ban cell phones in the collegs is not that much mandatory, we can obstract trhe students to not use the cell phones while classes are going on when the imp discussion are going on.

i think its not mandatory to ban cell phones...students are mature enough dat they know d importance of clases.. its just a silly topic,, we r professionals but nt kids .... ofcourse,,, usage of mobiles should not disturb others..
