well different colleges take in admission on different criteria. For India's best college for executive MBA i.e. ISB, they accept GMAT scores and further selection depends a lot on PI, you also need to have minimum 2 years for work ex.

well true different colleges follow different criteria but one common criteria is you need to have 2 + years for work experience.
apart from this some colleges take GMAT scores and some just accept you application and final selection will be done on the basis of Personal Interview.

Several Executive Education Programs are available in the IIMs, which require a considerable amount of work experience from the applicants in the field they apply for. For admission to most of these Executive programs, the candidate needs a valid GMAT or CAT score. For applying for the postgraduate programs in management, the candidates also should have a Bachelor’s degree. You can also attend the customized Management Development programs organized by the IIMs if sponsored by client organizations.

2 if you have less then 50% in graduation then you can not eligible for CAT
