Everything is simple science.Resistance and capacitance are two properties of
materials that are often taught to all students who are learning little nit of
physics.TFT resistive means that when the Thin Film Transistor(TFT), a
semicanductor transistor, is touched by hand, a resistance is generated in the
internal circuit of the TFT. Now there are many TFT's and there positions are
assigned to the mobile phones computer. When the computer find that a
resistance to the small electrical signals are getting formed while passing
current through a particular TFT, it understands that it has been touched. Its
a very sophisticated sensor mechanism developed by some brainiacs out
there. For the TFT capacitive thing, the capacitance properties of the TFT
sensors are used by the computer to detect a touch on the screen and what to
display nest when such a thing happens.
