How to create a website for troubled teens?
I'd like to create a website for teens who face depression, OCD, anxiety, addiction, or any other type of
trouble, or a place where they just need to talk to someone. I'm not sure how to do this. I need to
create a website that is free for me and free for others. I need to be able to create some kind of chat
room where other teens can talk to each other about similar problems. Any help would be greatly
appreciated! Thanks!

I think the best way is to indulge all such troubled teens in some fun
activity together and let them discuss while playing about their problems. The
problem with suck teens are the less of feeling of friendliness which needs to
be provided on a platform which of course needs to be very casual. I intend to
do similar thing with the help of travel and Indian Spiritual customs and
cultural values(Vedas). There can be several other ways too. :)

Before you build it, I would recommend talking to a psychologist who has
treated such cases, to understand what the teens would need. I would assume
that this would be different from a "regular" social networking site like
Facebook. Your intent is admirable though. Good luck.

what I would like to suggest, if u don't have much technical exposure about
web development is that-

1) -- Visit to www.yola.com
2) -- register a free
account there.
3) -- once u registered, u can choose a domain name for ur
site, select a better template for ur site.

and u can use different types
of widget like chat room, forum, discussion board, and plenty of pages with 1
gb web space.

So this way I think u can go with ur way, own less do more
.

u can place ur content as per ur requirement.

No need to be a
proficient coder.

Your intent is admirable. Before you get going, do a thorough web search for
what's already out there that addresses this need. Then figure out how you can
do one that's better. All the tech bells & whistles will mean little if you
don't get this "big picture" issue taken care of first.
