How is a project different to any other work?
I want the difference between the related ones, i think these both topics related each other.

both topics are related to each other but there is a vast difference in
project we have to according to project rules and you have to take permission
before doing anything but in other works you work according to situation and
manage it according to you want.

In project you don't have a time (if you think to spend some time with your
family but you can't) you have to be very active concentrate your job in any
minute to minute in project division.

operations or work performed by a person or organisation. A project has a
beginning and an end. Operations, once started, continue as an ongoing process
and are expected to continue with adjustments for perpetuity.

A project is different from other types of work in the following ways.
1. A
project has a definite start and also a definite end.
2. A project is a
unique one off activity, ie, it is not a repetitive activity
3. The
resource requirements in a project are not uniform. Requirements follow a bell
shaped curve.
4. Projects are generally a complex combination of many
types of activities
5. The level of specialization required is generally
very high in projects.
6. Project are highly customized

Execute project is to work in equilateral triangle with vertex of
Predefined TIME, fixed COST and desired Quality. Variation in any of
three characteristic = financial loss (actual of loss in profit), Company
Goodwill and lost business opportunity.
