it depends on what the incentive is that you are offering. if the employees
need and want it they will try for it and work toward it (and if it fits their
life, lifestyle and that of their family). Incentives might be food, trips,
parties, savings bonds, a savings account, automated deposit of their check
into the bank (helps them save), insurance, stock wherein the company buys
part of it for them, a retirement fund wherein the company pays half and then
invests all of it for the employee in which they make sure there is no loss to
the employee, vacations, bonuses. Some people are just simply motivated to
lead or like to be winners

yes, but you have to take care for the right candidate who is most valuable
for the production and also communicate to rest of the employee for their good
deed.
