What is the difference between perception and perspective?
All of you please answer these question. Understanding ISO thoroughly requires you to answer all my
questions. My intention of asking these question is give you simple things to think on the other to make
you realize the extent you have missed out. In this competitive world, we cannot afford to miss an
opportunity to think.Would you mind putting this questions to your employees in the daily meetings?

perception:It means what are your opinion about a certain thing,this opinion
can be influenced by past experience or word of mouth.

perspective: it
means what are your views about certain thing with respect to different
opinions available or representing your views from a specific angle of the
situation.

Perception : The state of being or process of becoming aware or conscious of a
thing through any of the senses; the intuitive or direct recognition of a
moral, aesthetic, or personal quality, e.g. the truth of a remark, the beauty
of an object; an instance of this; a result of perceiving; a mental image, a
conception; the faculty of perceiving; an ability to perceive; the action of
the mind by which it refers its sensations to an external object as their
cause; the neuro-physiological processes, including memory, by which an
organism becomes aware of and interprets external stimuli.

His perception
of the magnitude of the problem is similar to that of mine.
He showed great
perception in his performance.

Perspective : A mental view of the relative
importance of the relationships or aspects of a subject or matter; a point of
view, a way of regarding a matter; a mental prospect; expectation, insight.
The usage is given hereunder:

Perception is always per individual, thats why its always used as "My
perception is that..." or "I perceive it this way, how about you?..".
Its a
lot biased. However perspective is more to do with collective and accepted
rules and proven situations.

perception refers to the way of understanding while perspective is
understanding things in relation to others

Perception is individual view which has obtained through previous experiences
however Perspective is a general thought based on fats. In this way perception
is an assumption whereas perspective is a factual
