NCR Region to Get Two High-Tech Townships

Bangalore: High-tech townships are the new buzzword for real estate developers. The Sushant Megapolis and Wave City are two such township projects within the NCR region, which will be spread across 2500 to 4500 acres. After the government’s clearance, the construction of these two high-tech cities is in progress, which is near Ghaziabad and Greater Noida, reports A.K Tiwary of TNN.



These high-tech city projects are attracting buyers with their world class amenities like playgrounds, schools, hospitals, internal roads, a golf course, shopping centres, malls and other similar facilities under one umbrella. In the first phase, the project is expected to come up in 4-5 years and there would be more than 10000 flats available in the high-tech city.



Sushant Megapolis project is being developed on an area of 2504 acres which covers the surrounding villages of Bela Akbarpur, Chamrauli, Chatrasenpur, Dattawali and Ramgarh. Of 2504 acres 50 percent i.e. 1300 acres of the land can be used for commercial or domestic purpose that combines variety of options like built-up low-rise houses, bungalows, villas, independent floors, plotted developments, commercial offices, high-rise apartments, convenient shopping centres, and also education institutions. And the remaining percentage is allotted for roads, open spaces, parks, green belts, a golf course and other amenities.



Wave city, the other high-tech city is an integrated township that is developed in NCR region. This project is widely spread 4500 acres of land, taken villages like Dujana, Kacheda and Naiphal. The wave city project has integrated all modern infrastructure and lifestyle facilities.



R K Jain, executive director of Wave Infratech, quoted that "In first phase, we will develop 1,671 acre of land consisting of nearly 7,500 plots, which will house plotted development like housing, built-up floors and bungalows. In addition, to this, the first phase will have nearly 1.7 crore sq ft of group-housing schemes, consisting of built up flats, starting from 900 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft." reports Economic Times.



Jain further added that “This high-tech city is aimed at addressing the housing demand for the middle-income group and will offer all infrastructure facilities and lifestyle amenities.  It will have a mechanical cleaning and sweeping system, closed-loop city MRT system, a 2-acre park for a population of every 400 people and a lake spanning 3 acres, a minimum of 12 metre-wide road network."



The construction of the project has started and the first phase of the project is expected to be completed in the next three years.
