1) The Citadel

The Citadel is the first floating apartment complex in the world that designed by Koen Olthuis of Waterstudio, Netherland, who is renowned for his floating residences around the world. It is believed that the Dutch who have been witnessing the rising and falling of the tides, have now come up with a new development known as ‘New Water.’ This technique will help reduce the energy consumption almost by 25 percent, which is far less than usual buildings. The floating foundation of Citadel will be of heavy concrete caisson that will feature around 60 luxury apartments, a car parking, a floating road to access and boat docks. This apartment complex will get a density of around 30 units per acre of water and the main structure will be surrounded by more open water. Moreover, each apartment will include a personal terrace garden and the magnificent view of the lake.
